When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also collect anonymous usage data such as device fingerprints and IP addresses for vote tracking and rate limiting.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide the service, authenticate your identity, display your profile, prevent abuse (vote manipulation, spam), and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Google Sign-In Data

When you sign in with Google, we only request access to your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture). We do not access your contacts, calendar, drive, or any other Google services. Your Google data is used solely for authentication and profile display on 3ammiya.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and store preferences. We use device fingerprinting for anonymous vote tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed. Submitted definitions may remain on the platform in anonymized form.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time. You can request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting us at support@3ammiya.com. You can revoke Google access through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication through Supabase. However, no system is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

3ammiya is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the platform.
