Terms for 3ammiya, a community dictionary for Egyptian Arabic and Franco-Arabic.

1. Accepting these terms
By using 3ammiya or contributing to it, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.
2. The service and its content
3ammiya documents Egyptian Arabic words and expressions in Arabic, Franco, and English. Community definitions describe usage; they are not professional advice or official dictionary rules, and usage can vary by region and context.
3. Accounts
Some features, including voting and adding definitions, require an account. Keep your credentials secure and do not share them. We may ask for additional checks or restrict access to protect the service from abuse.
4. Community contributions
You are responsible for having the rights to submit your contribution and for avoiding personal information, impersonation, and advertising spam. By submitting content, you grant 3ammiya a non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute, and format it as part of the dictionary. This does not transfer exclusive ownership of your contribution.
5. Safety and moderation
Content is reviewed under our community rules, and we may refuse, hide, edit, or remove content or accounts to protect people and the service. Explaining an offensive word can be useful; threats, harassment, hate, incitement, or targeted abuse are not allowed.
6. Prohibited use
Do not use the service for spam, harvesting personal data, intrusion or disruption, vote manipulation, impersonation, malware, or bots/scrapers that overload the service or bypass its limits.
7. Sensitive words
The dictionary may include vulgar or sensitive language. Filtering starts enabled, and changing that setting is the user’s choice. Sexual content involving children, or content that identifies a real person for targeting, is never allowed.
8. Reports and appeals
Use the report control when a definition breaks the rules. We review reports according to capacity and priority and may request more detail. For a correction or review of a moderation decision, contact support@3ammiya.com.
9. Ownership and external links
The 3ammiya name, code, and interface belong to their respective owners. External links and services have their own terms and policies; we do not control their content or availability.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but it may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update these terms; we will update the date and explain material changes when appropriate.
